Now the Owner of an iPhone....YEA!!

So my iphone finally came in, and so worth the wait.....I LOVE IT! Wally, my sweet husband, went the day it came out and stood in line for it, even though they were sold out so I could get it as soon as the next shipment came in. He then stood in line to get and to activate it....Thank you honey! Hmmmm....maybe next time I will blog from my iphone ;). That is the only bad thing on it is the typing on it, but other than that 2 thumbs up.

Sunday Morning Donuts

One day during the weekend Wally goes anf get donuts for the boys. Just recently we have let Alexander par-take in this sweet delight...and boy does he like it, both boys do, but honestly who doesn't.

Hot Summer Days

This is our way of staying cool during the weekend and get family time in...the beach pool. The boys LOVE this pool, and the pics show it. It's only going to get HOT, HOT, HOT! Is summer almost over?!

Congrats to my hubby!

There are very few stories that would be interesting enough to make the blog that are just about Wally or I, why is that you ask....well b/c usually, and me more since I stay at home, we are always around our boys and the cute stories I share are b/c of them. So I take any opportunity I can, since few and far between, of sharing something about us w/o kiddos involved.

Wally was in a golf tournament at our club, Stonebridge Ranch, over the weekend and completely rocked it. He came in 2nd place....after a playoff between he and another guy for 1st place. He was on cloud nine when he got home on Sunday til the exhaustion kicked in. So, Wally, I am very proud of you and happy for you...you deserve it and needed it so you could take your mind off work stresses. My little Tiger Woods~xoxo!

Introducing Brayden's new pet......

Shamu! I took the boys to the pet store the other day, it something to do with looking at all the animals, and get out of the summer heat, plus we were in the market for a pet fish for Brayden (taking baby steps here). So Brayden is the proud owner of a little beta fish, and when asked what he thought the fish's name should be, his instant answer was Shamu. Do you think Sea World and the Shamu show made a big impression on him?! Anyways, he is so cute with his fish...once he gets up it is downstairs to say "Good morning" and say "Good night" before he goes upstairs to bed. He talk to him, watches him, and always want to feed him because "Mommy, Shamu hungry". If Brayden fed him when Brayden wanted to, we would have a lil' fish the size of Shamu...literally.

Happy Birthday, Anna!

Mogda's (Anna is what the grandkids call her) birthday was July 1st. So we had a family get together on Sunday to celebrate (minus Nehal and the girls...in Cali). The boys were so excited that she was coming over, but had to remind them after nap. We all had a nice evening spoiling Anna, playing and visiting out in the backyard, enjoying a yummy BBQ dinner, and of course the night would not be complete with out a candle and chocolate cake. So Happy Birthday, Anna! We love you, and hope you had a great day both on your actual b-day and on Sunday.

Brayden The Swimmer...Well Kind Of

Reaching for a sinker
Zeke and Brayden playing in the hot tube Swimming with Ms. Ruth
We are going to watch him jump
"1-2-3-JUMP! "So proud of his certificate

Today was Brayden's last day of swim lessons...the lessons were everyday (M-Th) for 45 minutes for 2 weeks. I got him in lessons after we lost his balance at the club pool one day, and couldn't get his feet planted so he kept turning in the water til I could get to him (why it is so hard for me, alone, to take them to the pool at these ages), we were both a freaked and that's how we got to swim lessons for him.

It started of rocky on day 1 (still fear from what had happened, which before that incident he had no fear and was ready to just jump in), so Ms. Ruth had him come earlier from normal class time to do one-on-one time...which helped. But what really helped to get more involved in the water was watching the class after us, which was a family of boys (very sweet and took Brayden under their wings), and one boy, Zeke, was B's age. On our last day of lessons, Brayden joined the boys for their swim lessons, and thanks to their mom, Amy, I was able to capture the moment of this year's swim lessons (I forgot my camera :( ).
