Happy Father's Day To Our Daddy

It was a nice and special day spent with Daddy, with a few treats and surprises pulled off by us.  It started off with surprising him with a golf theme layout with cupcakes (chocolate of course) designed to look like a golf course.  Along with the golf cupcakes, were the 2 gifts from the boys....golf profile shots of each boy framed, then there was "our" gift to Daddy....a new alarm/docking station for an iPhone and iPod.  He very much needed this and wanted this since his broke and I have been dealing w/ his iPhone alarm waking him up that sounds like a panic siren going off like we are in a submarine that is being flooded with water...that is not a nice noise to wake up to...talk about panic.  We also  made him his favorite breakfast with a little dash of extra love.  Next it was lunch with my family, then back to the casa so he could watch the U.S. Open...hey, it's his Father's Day.

Fun day, and funny to see Alex's wheels spinning in his head in regards to this day...he was a little confused with the gifts, and especially the cupcakes.  He shouted Happy Birthday to Daddy this morning...I think he got it after I said it's like a "thank you" day for being a great dad.

Happy Father's Day, Wally!!!

P.S.  and yes, I know, I have a lot of catching up to do...it's been a crazy few weeks.

On Saturday we went to cousin Sadie's pony birthday party....her b-day is actually in December (day after Christmas), so usually it's celebrated w/ friends in January, but this year my sister had it in summer for a change.  It was a cute lil' place in Lucas, and the boys and all kiddos had a blast with pony rides and carriage rides, a playground, face painting, games, plus some farm animals.
