Sneek Peek

So our master bedroom is coming along since the tear of our old comforter and a spark from my siter's redo to get us rolling.  Here's a little tease until it's all done....

Picture Perfect Air

So I saw this on another blog (I would link it, but forgot to bookmark the site) and thought whata cute idea to do to a boring thermostat....adds character, and I love that.  I'm all about cute ideas, and when I find them or think of them, I will share ;)...

The weather was BEAUTIFUL on Friday, so my sis and I took the kiddos the have a picnic and feed the ducks at the neighborhood pond.  But even pretty weather couldn't hold back a few meltdowns.  But all in all it was a great day...a very nice picnic, ducks were very well fed, went back to Ya-ya's for play time by the kiddos and hanging curtains by us ( The Just About Sister Design crew....maybe a new adventure ;) ha ha ), and then topped the day off with frozen yogurt.  I was worn out!

Flip-Flop In Seasons...Crazy Weather

The boys so excited over the snow

Brayden looking

Alex enjoing it for a second, it was soooo windy

So on Friday, last day of winter, we were in the 70's and wearing shorts.  When we woke up Saturday, first day of Spring we were in the 30's for a high...by the evening it was snowing...and come Sunday morning on the 2nd day of spring, this is what we woke up to.  A little over 5 1/2 inches of SNOW...say what?!??  Especially, after already getting over 7 inches a month ago....what a crazy Texas winter...and now spring this has been.  But no complaints here, by afternoon on Sunday a lot of the snow was gone, and today, Monday, we are going to be in the 60's....now that's my kind of snow...here today, gone tomorrow, and hello Spring!!

Pink Flamingos

Alex was so excited!

So, was Brayden....he had to hug someone b/c he was so excited

We have inheritated the award of the WT neighbor (if I have offended or you have these in your yard...well then, I'm sorry...I mean, the cutest neighbor award ;) ) from our dear, sweet neighbor. She was so gracious enough to give us not one, but two PINK flamingos since the boys could not stop talking about them from their aquarium experience. Thank you, E, for the sweet surprise this morning....the boys loved them, and are anxious to get out in the backyard with them. I hope none of the other neighbors saw them before the boys got up....I'm still waiting for the call from the HOA's about them :). Thanks for a fun visit last night...and for the pizza, but more importantly for the bottle of wine ;)!

A Day At The Aquarium

Looking for the monkies

Alex not a fan of something...can't remember which part it was

BIG fish

Alex could have starred at the Crocodile all day

Watch out, B!

Both boys loved the sharks...through the glass of course

B could have watched the Jaguar all day

We took the boys to the Aquarium...we haven't been in way over a year, maybe 2, because Alex was still in a stroller and stayed in it the whole time...so we were long over due.  Alex was in awe, and Brayden was just so excited over it all, so it was a fun day for sure just watching them.

On The Square Fun

The start of our adventure w/ our kiddos....4 kids vs 2 mommies....and one on the way (NOT by me)

Our goodies from Mom & POPcorn

Enjoying our snack and the warm air

So sweet!!!

Love it!

*Pics overload, but hoping mama A can download from here :)*

Saturday was beautiful, so we took advantage of it and along with our good friends...minus the Daddies :(.  These kiddos are so cute together...the pics will show it.  We took the kids to McD's for lunch (best to take them out on a full belly, since we were way out numbered, to avoid full grouchiness), then it was off to the square...first stop Mom & POPcorn store for a little bit of candy and flavored popcorn (such a cute store), the kids were in heaven.  After we picked out our snacks, we sat and walked a bit while munching on the tasty popcorn before lil' E needed his nap and then it was back home.  As for us, it was no naps and no rest for the boys, Grammy came over to visit :), and then it was off to ride bikes. Whew....I was exhausted....when it's just one parent, these lil' boys can wear you out...but they were nice and came with me to sit down and eat at a sushi restaurant and be so well behaved after the long and way-out-of-the-ordinary-sugar-high day they had.
