I'm back...it's been a whirlwind over the past couple of weeks with Wally out of town, our 5th anniversary, Alex's birthday, Mother's Day, new puppy, everyday life with boys and hubby, and end of the school year at the boys' MDO (lots of activities). WHEW!!  So let me catch ya up....

Mother's Day and Alex's birthday fell on the same day this year, so it was an active day.  We spent most of the day together as a family just hanging out and went and had lunch, where we had the waiters sing to our 3 year old.  Then Wally's family came over for dinner and cake to celebrate M-day and B-day.

The following weekend we got together w/ my family to celebrate Mother's Day at Brio...yumm!  It was nice and enjoyable not having to deal with the M-Day rush at the restaurant. A very fun lunch!!

My Mother's Day Gifts

The boys came home from school last week with some CUTE goodies for me.  A decorated mug from both boys with their name and hand print, and Brayden filled out a little survey about his Mommy.  I took a pic of it b/c it's cute, but really....41 years old...thanks, B :).  Well, for being 41, at least, I look 29 ;).

Alex's class at school has like 5-6 kids that have May birthdays, so the teachers thought it might be a good idea to combine and do a pizza/cookie party for all the May birthdays.  Alex was too cute, when I came to drop off the pizza, he was excited and kept telling me who's bday it was...everyone but him.  I finally informed him that it's his bday, too.  Needless to say, he is now very excite to turn 3.
