First Blog

Ok...so my first blog,hmmmm...where to begin. Well, what got me started on this blog? My sister, and even though we talk often it's still nice to check in and read a story that might have gone forgotten in our many of conversations throughout the week.

It's so hard to stay up to speed in everyone's life, that's what I loved about Myspace was the ability to stay connected and catch up with friends, even friends that I haven't talked to or seen since preschool. I do have quite a few girlfriends that don't have Myspace, so I figured this is another great way to keep up. If you are like me and with kids, you know that at times picking up the phone to say "hello" can be difficult. My toddler will not let me talk b/c he wants to be the one talking, and not for a minute or so, but the whole time. Other times, I may have a crying baby, a husband that walked in the door, or it's finally quiet around here for a minute and it is "Mommy" time (usually is checking email).

So I hope you enjoy my blog, and maybe it will influence some to start their own, b/c I do enjoy reading them and seeing pictures.
